Life Arbitrage grew out of choices I was making long before I had a name for them.
It started closer to home.
In Kentucky, I built software and worked in real estate. A computer I’d bought to self-publish a novel became the machine I used to develop mailing-list software that supported my family for years. Getting a real-estate license put me in a different position in my own transactions.
Later came Florida, and eventually time in Panama and Colombia. I haven’t emigrated. I spend more time in the US than anywhere else, and keeping Fort Myers as my base is a choice I enjoy.
The part I want to share.
I’m interested in the moment an option becomes visible: a different way to arrange care, participate in a deal, or spend part of your year. I write about what I’ve tried and what I’ve learned, including the times my plans changed.
Altura brings that writing together with a book in development and tools meant to make the ideas more useful in your own life. Altura Voz, our language app, is one of those projects.
