Inquiries
The inquiry page prepares an email in your own email app. Filling it in does not submit it to Altura. When you send it, Donald receives the contact details and message you include and uses them to respond and discuss your request. Email to [email protected] may be forwarded to Donald’s Gmail account.
Please don’t send medical records, passport details, or sensitive health information through the inquiry page. We will ask before sharing your inquiry with a local assistant or other contact. An inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
Article subscriptions
New article subscriptions and book/app interest signups are handled by Kit. Each project form records your interest in that project separately from the article newsletter. Its embedded form processes your email address and sends a confirmation email before you join. Kit processes signup and email-delivery information and may record email opens and link clicks. You can unsubscribe through the link in each newsletter. Loading the form connects your browser to Kit. Kit’s privacy policy explains its practices. Earlier signups remain on our website server; they have not been automatically transferred to Kit. To request removal of an earlier signup, email Donald from that address.
Website visits
Cloudflare provides site delivery and Web Analytics. Hosting and security systems may process request information, such as network addresses and requested pages, to serve and protect the site. Aggregate analytics help us understand which pages are being used. Administration uses a session cookie to keep authorised administrators signed in.
Calculators
The calculator figures are processed in your browser. The calculator code does not submit those figures to our server. Downloaded comparisons are saved on your device.
Keeping and removing information
We use inquiry information to handle your request and any resulting arrangements. Contact Donald to ask about your information or request correction or removal. Information may remain in protected backups or be retained where needed for legal or transaction records.
